The John Graham Centre Details
As a family business we like to make sure our students feel safe and comfortable enough to work as independently as possible, learn new skills and achieve. We will always encourage our very able students to be in charge of projects, develop their personal potential, and learn how to become increasingly independent.
One to one Support
Our staff are fully trained to provide one to one support. We encourage families/carers to meet up with our staff in order to discuss students’ needs and the best way to support them and enable them to achieve.
In partnership with Social Services
We are working very closely with Social Services and have regular meetings and reviews with Care Managers to provide an excellent quality of care to our students.
How to attend our Daily Centre?

Email us at: email@example.com
We will book a visit for you to have a walk around the farm and show you our wonderful site. You are free to come with or without the student, morning or afternoon. Visits are usually booked at 10.30am or 1.30pm. After the visit we give the family an application pack that needs to be filled in carefully. Student’s personal details, plus any information that will help our staff to provide the right support to the new student, are essential. A Support Plan is requested to be filled in, in order to give information that would help in understanding the needs of the student.
Following the visit, the student needs to contact their Care manager to inform them that they would like to have a taster day with the possibility of attending the John Graham Centre. Funding will then be confirmed by the Care Manager.
Taster Day free of charge
After the visit, we offer the student a taster day free of charge in order that he / she can have a look at all the activities and decide which one suits them best. New students get to know our staff and feel happier when they come back if they decide to attend.
Once the placement has been agreed by the Care Manager and we have collected the application form fully completed, then the student can start attending.
If it is a private placement then we will only require that the application form is fully completed to start attending.
